Welcome to September in the Smokanagan, Basic Education & Literacy month: They’re going back!
With a whole lot of effort on behalf of many, our Club keeps achieving amazing things. Last week’s speakers were great, and awesome to meet Ollie, our inbound exchange student. We look forward to highlighting more of the committee work shortly.
This month we feature MLA Steve Thomson, Rotary After 5, Christine McWillis of Project Literacy, Chris Mazurkewich of Interior Health, Board Meeting, District Governor Bill Jenkin visit & night greet, and Fireside for new members. What a lineup!
We’re still looking for a Rotary At Work project – small, minimal planning, 4-10 Rotarians, hands-on, maximum impact. Please keep your ideas flowing and let’s pick something meaningful.
